James Earl is a
fourth generation native of Mena and Polk County. His parents are
Imogene Turner and the late Glen Turner. His wife of 26 years is
Ewanta. He has two sons, Eric and his wife Emily and daughter Emma, and
Lucas along with his wife Trina and their children, Bailey, Braeden, and
Bracey.
Turner believes in helping his friends
and neighbors by being involved in community activities. He serves as a
volunteer firefighter as does his wife and sons. He, his wife, and son
also serve on the Polk County Search and Rescue Team. He is a 35 year
member and past master of Dallas Lodge #128 F&AM.
James Earl graduated from Mena High
School in 1972, is a graduate of the 2007-2008 Leadership Polk County
class, and the 2010 Second Year Experience-Leadership Polk County.
